Most schools find out how well they answer parents from the complaints. This is a quicker way: five honest questions about your own front office, and one report card at the end.
Take it on your own, or with the person who answers the school phone. The answers are usually more honest that way.
What the five subjects measure
- Responsiveness — how long a parent waits for an answer to a simple question.
- Circular clarity — whether a circular ends the questions or starts them.
- Self-serve answers — whether a parent can find dates, fees and events without calling.
- Peak readiness — what happens to the front desk in admission season.
- Parent sentiment — what parents say about how the school keeps in touch.
A low mark in one subject is not a verdict on the school. It usually means one answer lives in the wrong place — in a circular nobody opened, or in one person's memory.
Bring one circular.
We'll run it in a fifteen-minute demo, and you judge the answers.
